With every passing day, a new article about the recent death of a comrade in France appears in the bourgeois press. The story uncoils piece by piece. We will keep on following the events, therefore keep an eye on our website, as soon as any updates are available, they will be published there. For the ones, who speak French, are not in prison and have access to Internet, we recommend the website for the anarchist publication “Cette Semaine”, http://www.cettesemaine.free.fr (which is always worth reading). These words were written around the 15th of May.

Update
On Monday, May 25, 2009, Juan was placed under judiciary control. It’s not clear yet if the prosecution will make an appeal.
Juan is prohibited from seeing anyone else under investigation and from leaving the Parisian region. He’s also under house arrest and he’s obligated to work, to check in once a week with the police and to regularly attend “re-integration” appointments.
Juan had been in prison for 11 months, accused of attempted arson of a police car during the presidential elections.

Farid was put under strict judiciary control on May 7, 2009 (he had been sent back to prison again on the March 11, 2009 for having violated his previous judiciary control).
Bruno decided to flee from judiciary control in the beginning of July 2008 and is still on the run.
Ivan made a similar decision in March 2009.
Isa was put under judiciary control on February 10, 2009 (after more than a year of imprisonment).
Juan was put under judiciary control on May 25, 2009 (after 11 months of imprisonment).
Damien was put under judiciary control on March 27, 2009 (after 7 months of imprisonment).

Solidarity Event in Vancouver
Two pamphlets about imprisoned rebels in France were distributed at an information event in Vancouver at Spartacus Books on March 12, 2009. One pamphlet was called “Arrests in France” and the other was “Solidarity & Revolt Across Borders (PDF).”
